The present invention relates to a multi-functional additive mixture containing reduced unsaturated detergent dispersant (DD) components and to a process for its preparation, which comprises reaction products of polyisobutylene succinic acid anhydride derivatives. anti-friction and anti-wear, increases viscosity and viscosity index, anti-oxidatative and has an acid-neutralizing effect, and is therefore preferably used to improve the properties of lubricating oils, motor fuels, system cleaning fluids and aqueous emulsions and suspensions containing hydrocarbons.
