The invention relates to a process which makes it possible to accomplish a dental implantation surgery using an implantation guide also in those cases when the restricted oral opening of the patient would not allow this. Furthermore, the process according to the invention ensures that the bone can be prepared for multiple implants of varying lengths with only a limited number of drills of given lengths. The process according to the invention further ensures that the shortest possible drill length will be used for the preparation of the bone with the greatest possible guide height, and that the guide will be placed at the shortest possible distance from the coronal surface of the implant.
