Applying novel imipridone derivatives, containing 3,5-disubstituted benzyl group attached to position 7, being subject of the present invention, especially on patients suffering from prostate carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, lung carcinoma, breast cancer, glioma, cancers of head and neck, colon cancer, skin cancer proved to show enhanced anticancer activity. The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and stereoisomers thereof, which are applicable for use in treating cancer diseases. The present invention further relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the above compounds.
