Dóra Tepfenhárt has considerable experience in providing comprehensive industrial property rights support for pharmaceutical research and development. Besides representation before the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, her experience extends to representation before the European Patent Office. Dóra is well versed in drafting and interpreting freedom to operate (FTO) opinions, assessing patent infringement risks and related risk management. She is also familiar with invention management and regulating royalty fees to be paid to inventors.

Dóra started her career in 2001 at GE Hungary, where she spent two years, before joining Chinoin as a trainee patent attorney. She became head of patent operations for the Sanofi Group / Chinoin in 2007 before joining Danubia in 2017, initially as a patent attorney and later becoming partner.

She has been a Hungarian patent attorney since 2007 and a European patent attorney since 2008.

Dóra graduated as a chemical engineer, specialising in pharmaceuticals, from Budapest University of Technology Faculty of Chemical Technology in 2001. She completed her master’s thesis in Paris at the Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory of the École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielle de la Ville de Paris (ESPCI). During her studies she spent an academic year in France at the École National Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier on a Tempus research scholarship.
