Chemist and Biotechnologist
As a patent attorney, Dr. Ádám Svingor deals primarily with inventions in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, and the pharmaceutical- and food industries. He is well versed in conducting patent- and literature searches, drafting expert opinions and managing patent portfolios, and represents and advises small- and medium-sized enterprises, private individuals, research institutes and universities.
Prior to joining Danubia Patent and Law Office in 1998, Ádám worked as a research scientist at the Institute of Enzymology at the Biological Research Centre in Szeged of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where his studies focused principally on protein expression and isolation, and protein adaptation to extreme environments.
Ádám has been a Hungarian patent attorney since 2002 and a European patent attorney since 2003.
He graduated in chemistry from Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Science in 1993, before going on to study on the doctoral programme in ‘Structural Biochemistry’ at same university, obtaining his doctorate in 2002.
Dr. Ádám Svingor is a recipient of the Ottó Somorjay Prize.
