Dr. Éva Szigeti is responsible for day-to-day trademark prosecution and representation in trademark litigation. She is a regular speaker at trademark conferences in Hungary and internationally, where her presentations focus primarily on Hungarian and Central-Eastern European trademark practice and enforcement, as well as on Hungarian trademark law matters arising from the expansion of the European Union.
She regularly publishes articles in national and international trademark journals.

Éva has been working in the Trademark Department of Danubia Patent and Law Office, and Danubia’s predecessor, Licensed Inventions Foreign Trading Co., since 1979. In 1981 she became Head of the Trademark Department and then in 1990 Deputy Managing Partner heading up the Trademark Department.

Éva graduated in law from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest in 1975, before going on to qualify as an attorney at law and legal counsel in 1978.

Dr. Éva Szigeti is a recipient of the Prize for Hungarian Trademark Culture founded by the Hungarian Trademark Association.
