Miklós Sóvári has substantial knowledge and experience in prosecuting and enforcing national and international patents, trademarks and designs, licensing and competition law matters, and in the field of industrial property rights litigation and enforcement.
He is a regular speaker at industrial property rights conferences in Hungary and internationally, and has published a number of articles in prestigious international scientific journals at home and abroad.
He is the author of the Hungarian chapter of ‘Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in the EU Member States’ published in 2019.
Miklós joined the predecessor company of Danubia in 1984 and was one of the founder members of Danubia Patent and Law Office in 1989.
He has been a Hungarian patent attorney since 1988 and a European patent attorney since 2003.
He graduated as an electrical engineer from the Budapest University of Technology in 1984, before going on to qualify as an engineer specialising in industrial property rights at the University of Pannonia in 1990 and obtaining his LLB from the University of Szeged in 2001.
